BOMnipotent - SBOM and CSAF Distribution

BOMnipotent, the server application for hosting and managing your BOM and CSAF documents, is now fully functional and ready for production. With the current version 0.3.0, you can

• list, up- and download your BOM documents.
• update a list of vulnerabilities.
• list, up- and download your CSAF documents.
• create and manage user accounts.
• grant fine-grained access permissions.

The server is easy to set up within minutes, secure-by-design, and automatically makes you a CSAF provider according to the OASIS standard.

The official BOMnipotent documentation now contains detailed setup instructions for the server, and usage instructions for users accessing your documents. Adding the document manager’s perspective will be the priority of the next few days.

It is thus high time to make BOMnipotent available to the public.

Launching the software in open beta means that some unforseen breaking changes may yet be introduced. In exchange for your trust and this potential hastle, you get a limited offer: If you acquire a subscription during the beta phase, your free trial period will last for 7 whole months. Most likely BOMnipotent will long have been fully released before you pay your first bill.

Unless you represent a non-commercial entity, in which case you will never have to pay anything.

The most important aspect of the beta phase is this: I want to hear what you think, what you need. Let me know your requirements and help me steer this product towards a version 1.0.0 that we can all enjoy.
